Kristina Hicks, LPC

Kristina earned a Bachelor of Science from Southwestern Adventist University and a Masters of Science in Counseling Psychology from Tarleton State University. Kristina's theoretical approaches include a client-centered approach with cognitive behavioral therapy, behavioral therapy, and solution-focused therapy.

Kristina works with a variety of issues such as depression, anxiety issues, relationship issues, parenting, grief, emotional and sexual abuse, work issues, self-esteem, life-changing events to name a few.

Tara Mitchell, LCSW

Tara works with both adolescents and adults on a variety of issues such as depression, anxiety, OCD, difficulty adjusting to new situations, LGBTQIA+ related issues, trauma, school challenges, and improving family and peer relationships. She enjoys helping to empower individuals to explore and find solutions that work for them in a non-judgmental atmosphere where individuals can openly and comfortably discuss their experiences. Tara’s theoretical approaches include dialectical behavior therapy, cognitive behavior therapy, mindfulness-based stress reduction, and solution-focused. She offers virtual as well as face-to-face sessions. Tara’s educational background include a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Old Dominion University and a Masters of Social Work from University of Texas at Arlington.

Roger Lane Poole, LPC-S

Roger Lane Poole is a former school counselor, teacher, and is an Army Veteran. He earned a Bachelor degree from East Texas Baptist University, Masters of Arts from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Masters of Education from Tarleton State University. Lane focuses on person-centered therapy, behavioral, and cognitive counseling for children, adolescents, and adults.

Macie Ridgley, LPC

Macie Ridgley earned her bachelor's from the University of Texas at Tyler and her master's from Texas Christian University. Macie utilizes play therapy for children ages 3-10 and a combination of play therapy and talk therapy for children ages 10-12. Macie uses a child-centered approach and focuses on building the relationship and understanding between the child and those around them.

Macie has worked in many settings; schools, non-profit, government agencies, and private practice. As a counselor, she focuses on working with children and families facing difficulties at home or school due to behavioral issues, anxiety, trauma, learning disabilities, inadequate boundaries, anger management, self-esteem, motivation, and many other areas

Dr. Keila Santos, PsyD

Dr. Keila Santos obtained her masters and doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Carlos Albizu University in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She is licensed as a Clinical Psychologist in the state of Texas and is passionate to work with survivors of trauma, especially sexual abuse and domestic violence. Dr. Santos has been working in the field for over seven years with experience in trauma, anxiety, and mood disorders. She currently provides couples and individual therapy.

She employs a client-centered approach with cognitive behavioral therapy and a future-oriented perspective. Dr. Santos believes that every individual is capable of practicing resilience to cope with life struggles and overcome any obstacles they are currently facing. Therefore, the role of therapy is to help support each individual in finding and strengthening their abilities, and to establish clear plans towards reaching their goals
