Kristina Hicks, LPC

Kristina earned a Bachelor of Science from Southwestern Adventist University and a Masters of Science in Counseling Psychology from Tarleton State University. Kristina's theoretical approaches include a client-centered approach with cognitive behavioral therapy, behavioral therapy, and solution-focused therapy. Kristina works with a variety of issues such as depression, anxiety issues, relationship issues, parenting, grief, emotional and sexual abuse, work issues, self-esteem, life-changing events to name a few.

Tara Mitchell, LCSW

Tara works with both adolescents and adults on a variety of issues such as depression, anxiety, OCD, difficulty adjusting to new situations, LGBTQIA+ related issues, trauma, school challenges, and improving family and peer relationships. She enjoys helping to empower individuals to explore and find solutions that work for them in a non-judgmental atmosphere where individuals can openly and comfortably discuss their experiences. Tara’s theoretical approaches include dialectical behavior therapy, cognitive behavior therapy, mindfulness-based stress reduction, and solution-focused. She offers virtual as well as face-to-face sessions. Tara’s educational background include a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Old Dominion University and a Masters of Social Work from University of Texas at Arlington.

Roger Lane Poole, LPC-S

Roger Lane Poole is a former school counselor, teacher, and is an Army Veteran. He earned a Bachelor degree from East Texas Baptist University, Masters of Arts from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Masters of Education from Tarleton State University. Lane focuses on person-centered therapy, behavioral, and cognitive counseling for children, adolescents, and adults.
